About Us

We are located on the edge of the tiny hamlet of Arncliffe, one of the most beautiful in the Yorkshire Dales with a population of approximately 60 residents. The village nestles at the bottom of the steep sided valley of the River Skirfare - a feeder to the always impressive River Wharfe.

The surrounding villages of Grassington, Kilnsey, Kettlewell and Buckden add to every visitor's enjoyment of the Dale as they proudly provide for the Relaxing Rambler or the more Demanding Discoverer.

Luxury at Amerdale House extends far beyond the kitchen. All of our guests can enjoy Molton Brown accessories providing everything from deep cleansing body washes to shower gels infused with exotic plant extracts. Soft towels and luxury linens are plentiful.
